Art Journal Page 223

Hi everyone!

The last page in this repurposed journal! Journal flip coming!

Today I tried to use the StencilGirl® 'door to heart' stencil in a different way than when I used it the last time. The only difference was the stamped image but I was happy with how it turned out,

Hi everyone!

Working in my whimsy notebook journal today!

These houses seem to be getting more and more difficult. I'm choosing easy houses to draw because I'm lacking the courage to try something other than the norm. Now that I say that out loud I'm remembering my own advice when it comes to whimsy: It's not going to be a masterpiece; there are no rules; test yourself and HAVE FUN! Maybe next time LOL.

Hi everyone!

Today was all about using my tea cup dies. I recently catalogued all my thinlet dies by numbering them and adding them to a spreadsheet for ease of locating that one die I need LOL. Anyway I came across these tea cup dies and decided to use them on a journal page.

Art Journal Page 219

Hi everyone!

Using my favourite colour combination today - blues and browns.

I started off adhering some torn scrapbook paper to add texture before applying paint. I'm not overly fussed on the outcome though as I think I should start trying to shade faces. This page screamed for me to do it but I got scared and probably lazy LOL. One day I'll have a go at faces - one day :)

Having Fun With Shipping Tags No.10

Hi everyone!

For today's tag challenge (yes, I know it's been way too long since I've had a tag challenge) I had to 'blindly' choose 6 different products to use on the tag and only use those 6 products. You can use black and white as these are neutral colours. Also you are able to use stamps (black or white ink only), stencils, gesso, texture paste, etc.

So the 6 products I chose were:

Pebeo DYNA 'iridescent green blue' acrylic paint * Lindy's Stamp Gang 'bells of Ireland green' starburst spray * Liquitex Professional 'yellow oxide' ink * Lindy's Stamp Gang 'bratwurst brown' Magicals powder * Prima|Finnabair 'dark olive' rust effect paste * Tim Holtz 'gathered twigs' distress oxide

For all our tag challenges head on over to our FaceBook group JOURNAL TECHNIQUES by CLICKING HERE.
