Altered File Folder Pouch for Justin

Hi everyone!

Today I'm altering another file folder, this one is for my youngest grandson, Justin. He saw the file folder pouch I altered for Amelia and said he would like one also. The only difference was the colours. He said he would like blue, grey and purple. So that's what I did!

Altered File Folder

Hi everyone!

Today I've got a different project. Still mixed media but I'm altering a file folder and making it into a pouch, or holder for scraps of paper and such. Although I'm going to give it to my granddaughter, Amelia who just loves paper and painting and crafting.

This project was entirely inspired - once again - by Sara (My Serenity Crafts). Here is the link to the video recording I watched while making this file folder pouch:

Instead of sewing the sides together using my sewing machine I decided to sew it using embroidery thread with the Blanket Stitch.

Art Journal Page 219

Hi everyone!

Using my favourite colour combination today - blues and browns.

I started off adhering some torn scrapbook paper to add texture before applying paint. I'm not overly fussed on the outcome though as I think I should start trying to shade faces. This page screamed for me to do it but I got scared and probably lazy LOL. One day I'll have a go at faces - one day :)
