Blind 3 Challenge Journal Page

Hi guys!

Another blind 3 journal page where I blindly select 3 colours from my paint trolley and use those 3 colours plus black & white. You can also use any other product such as stencils, stamps, texture tools, etc.

The 3 colours blindly selected were Juice, Storm in a Teacup & Violet. This was a hard one due to the fact that there were 2 very dark colours amongst the mix.

LIVE Stream - Art Journal Page - Blind 3 Challenge

 Hi everyone!

So today we did the blind 3 challenge again where I choose 3 mediums and use only those mediums plus black and white. Today I chose paints and those colours were: hot pink, crimson & burnt umber.

I went with a 'safe' page today using my go-to theme of circles and layers.

Live Stream - Blind3 Challenge Art Journal Page

 Hi everyone!

So today was my usual Wednesday 11am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and I chose to challenge myself once again with another blind3! Today my choice of mediums was Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks! I blindly selected bundled sage, tumbled glass & brushed corduroy.

There were a few mishaps during this stream - the postman delivering a couple of parcels, my husband attempted to phone me 3 times and my daughter entering my live stream and then calling me LOL. On top of that I had another craft-a-lanch! I knocked over my distress ink tower and all one side fell onto the floor. No major damage but you can see by the pic below I was lucky LOL.

We made it in the end, as always it came together nicely!

LIVE STREAM - Art Journal Page

 Hi everyone!

Today I streamed live creating a journal page using the blind 3 'plus' method lol.

The 'blind 3 plus' method is where I blindly picked three paints and then selected the first three 'magicals' I came to. The paints were Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre and Oxide Chromium Green. The Lindy's Stamp Gang Flat Magicals were 'magical mai tai', 'aloha avacado' and 'ocean breeze blue'.

At first I stencil gessoed the page using a 12"x12" KaiserCraft 'chevron' stencil and the finished effect is awesome! In essence, the gesso makes the colours used on top brighter than the un-gessoed areas of the page. Love that technique!

Again I printed some images to add to the page and used a quote from the Sticker Nation 2 book.

Hi everyone

Today I did the blind 3 challenge where I blindly choose three different paints, along with a black and a white paint, to create a page with only those paints.

The paints I blindly chose were 'espresso', 'pretty pink' and 'lime yellow'.

I used stencils, stamps stickers (black & white) and stamped an image onto white cardstock, fussy cut it out and painted it with the 3 colours I blindly chose!

I think it worked out fairly well in the end.
