Hi everyone!
Seems like I'm still on the 'HOPE' feeling with my page today. HOPING (no pun intended) things lighten up soon!
Today's page (the colours anyway) was inspired by my grandson, Justin. I'd recently made an altered file folder for his sister, Amelia, and Justin said he'd like one also. I asked him what colours he wanted and he replied 'gray, blues and light purple'. That's where my background colours came from today!
Only once the background was done did I decide to slap an image on it, a quote and call it done LOL.

Playing with Distress Oxide Sprays
Hi everyone!
I live streamed on my other YouTube channel today for the first time this year! I was a bit anxious about how it was going to go because I haven't been arting much lately. Most of my videos uploaded to YouTube within the past 3 months have been done for ages and just scheduled to upload weekly.
But I was happy to be getting together with my art buddies for the first time in months!
So today I played with the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays, creating interesting backgrounds. I must admit that alone, the distress oxide sprays are ok, but when you add other mediums to them the page comes alive! I used various other brands of sprays, Magicals, and ink!

This page was totally inspired by Coleen's live stream. Coleen is The Scrapchic on YouTube and links to Coleen's channel and the video by which I was inspired are below:

Altered File Folder
Hi everyone!
Today I've got a different project. Still mixed media but I'm altering a file folder and making it into a pouch, or holder for scraps of paper and such. Although I'm going to give it to my granddaughter, Amelia who just loves paper and painting and crafting.
This project was entirely inspired - once again - by Sara (My Serenity Crafts). Here is the link to the video recording I watched while making this file folder pouch:
