Hi everyone!
I'm so so excited!!!! All my hard work trying to get the whites to actually appear white over the top of sprays has worked!!! So happy!
So I sprayed the page with yummy sprays, applied 5 coats of generic hair spray (fixative), applied a couple of coats of gel medium then clear gesso, sanded and applied another coat of clear gesso. Yes, it is a lot of work but if it actually does the trick, I'll do it! I can have multiple pages on the go and have them at the ready for later :)
So when the first page worked I was so excited I didn't even create a layout as such on the page, just a few white gesso sponged circles and some text written with a POSCA paint pen - just to see if it worked.
So then I started on a fresh page, applying the same process, then created a layout!
