Valentine's Day Engagement Ring Box

Well, I don't know what possessed me to make this. If you know me at all you know that I don't usually make anything that's NOT PRACTICAL - who knows! Maybe I just did it to see if I could. Oh well, I've put 5 videos on YouTube showing the making of this box and you can see the first one here. The music used in this series was written, played and recorded by my hubby.

The box is embellished enough to place an engagement ring inside, however you could add yummy chocolates too!

Materials Used:

• 2 pieces 8 1/2 x 11 3mm chipboard
• 1 sheet of 3mm foam (for cushioning effect)
• 1 piece pink felt
• small piece bright pink satin fabric
  
• 2 different sizes of stringed pearls
• white lace from my stash
• pink lace from my stash
  
• Iamroses flowers
• Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist for the flowers
• Tyvek envelops
• 2 jump rings and a small piece of chain
  
• 2 different colour sheer ribbons
• Heart & Key chipboard key from Bella Bits
• Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint - Worn Lipstick
• Adirondak Acrylic Paint Dabber in Pearl
• lots and lots and lots of hot glue!
