Hi everyone!
Working in my whimsy houses journal today I go back to my folk art roots!
I'm trying to find all sorts of whimsical houses to paint and came across this image during a google search and decided I would have to paint it!
First though I had to trace it and transfer it on the page as there was no way on this earth I was going to do it justice if I drew it!
Then it was just having so much fun adding colour and detail to it!

Art Journal Page 206
Hi everyone!
I decided I'm really loving the whimsical look of journal pages and so I decided I would create a whole journal dedicated to whimsical houses and scenes. I've made notebook journals and have them sitting on my desk doing nothing so I decided to put them to good use.
This first page is fairly basic, with a background and a few elements on the page but that's it. I'm hoping that with practice I can create great pages using this whimsical theme.
